Child Counseling

Our child clients at Life Anchors typically fall between the ages of 3-11. We understand that children within this age range are uniquely special and may each require extra care developing treatment models that properly address issues. Children’s treatment modalities typically include various play therapy models, sand tray therapy, puppet shows, painting, and game time. Our goal at Life Anchors is to provide a safe space for all children that has the tools your child needs to take control of his or her mental health.

Children, adolescents, and young adults requiring mental health treatment demand specialized treatment plans that are not the same as mature adults. Our therapist Allie will develop customized treatment plans for young adults or your children and teens that will address each one personally. Plans may also be developed with parents in mind so that each parent can take a primary role in making sure success is reached.

Sadly, bullying among children and teens is a serious problem in today’s world. At Life Anchors we support a Zero Tolerance Policy for bullying and if your child is experiencing or is suffering from the effects of bullying our bullying prevention program can help your child overcome these obstacles.

Pricing Information

Life Anchors will always give your “Meet the Therapist” 30 Minute Phone or Office Session Free of Charge. Our 50-55 minute therapy sessions range from $75-$115. All 90 minute specialized EMDR sessions are $145. We currently accept all major credit cards, debit cards, cash or check.

We offer financial assistance on a limited basis for those parents who are struggling to help their child or teen get the treatment that they need. Please contact us for more information regarding possible financial assistance and flexible
